For those of you who know me well, you know how much I appreciate a good pamper moment, or two, or three. I enjoy carving out time to do those things that make me feel good and restore my body and mind for the rest of the "work" I have ahead of me at any particular moment. I also love teaching women how to do the same. This is where the conversation begins...
I often ask women if they take enough pamper moments, and I almost always get the same response. "It depends on what you call a pamper moment." The truth is ladies, pamper moments are those sweet little moments you find to practice self-care. They range widely- from cooking a wholesome meal, relaxing in a bubble bath, or enjoying a good conversation with your girlfriends. The point isn't what you do to pamper yourself, but rather do you take the time to experience these moments?
I am a firm believer that at the very least you should find a pamper moment DAILY! That's right, daily. In fact, I try to find a pamper moment in the morning, midday, and in the evening if I know I am about to have a particularly stress-filled day. I believe the more you fill your days with self-care, the more energy and enthusiasm you will be able to offer others as well!
I encourage you to spend some time over the next few days and write down what you can do to incorporate a few pamper moments into your week and when you may be able to carve out a little time to practice self-care! I would love to hear what you come up with!
