I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas season filled with love, family, friends, and yummy homemade treats! I know I did (hence the lack of blog posts these last few weeks) The Christmas season is also the perfect time to rest believe it or not. Those cozy nights snuggled up with those you love; those nights provide the perfect opportunity for rest and relaxation. I hope you took those opportunities where you could as the New Year often brings exciting events that require your energy and attention!
So here it is... I know society today often scoffs at New Year's Resolutions. We ask "why should I wait until the New Year for change?" or "New Year's resolutions just lead to disappointment and failures." Regardless, I have to ask; what will you do with this New Year? Perhaps you want to complete more DIY projects, spend more time with friends, or focus on your health. Whatever the goal may be, the New Year provides the perfect opportunity for you to begin the journeys you were not able to start during the past year. Instead of blowing off the opportunity for change or making up excuses, use the day to begin those tasks you resisted all year. Begin NOW. Take some time this week and consider the areas in your life you would like to improve, then write them down, and establish concrete steps to help you reach your goals!
In the meantime, I am going to write some of my own goals/resolutions too!
